Using a 4.7 oil filter on a 3.7?

Hello! I recently purchased a 2004 KJ with a 3.7, I own several other Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep's with 4.7, 3.3 and 3.8 engines that all use the MOPAR MO-090 oil filter (04105409AC) however I see that this 3.7 uses a MO-452 (#4781452BB). The 452 is longer and narrower however it does have the same threads as the 090 and it seems to tighten up and fit fine. Since the 4.7 and 3.7 are similar designed engines my question is has anyone used or aware of any issues using the old standard MO-090 instead of the MO-452? I am only asking as I buy the 090's by the case from the dealer and would like to try avoid buying more of a different filter.
