Just got my 05 liberty Saturday! Just wondering what that growling/whirling noise was when I am driving. It stops when I am in a complete stop. At first I thought it was the AC fan but turned it off and still makes the noise. The noise is louder on 2WD and noticed its not noticeable when I'm on 4-FullTime. Dealer says it's the new off road tires and will disappear over time. Can it be the transmission?
