Is it true that some Liberties were made with timing chains? I can't seem to find anything in the maintenance schedules about needed to replace the timing belt. I've only found stuff about the drive belt, which I've been told is the same thing as the serpentine belt. I'm expecting to have to change the belt if it does indeed have one, but some sites I've been to mention a timing chain. Anyone know anything about it?

The Following Liberty Engines have a Timing Belt:

2.5L 4 Cylinder Diesel
2.8L 4 Cylinder Diesel
2.4L 4 Cylinder Gas

The Following Liberty Engines have a Timing Chain:

3.7L 6 Cylinder Gas

... and that would explain why there's nothing in your manual about "chain"ging out your timing belt. :) There's no belt to change.
