Stock suspension needs replaced already???

Hey all somewhat of a lurker on here. Anyways I wanted to see if anyone has experienced the stock suspension being very soft and bouncy? When I pull into my driveway I have a little curb I need to drive over, and it send the KK for a ride! This is an 09 with 12,000 miles on it. I wouldn't think the suspension would be bad already would it?

Well that's not fun lol. The wifey doesn't like it. I'd assume I would need to buy stiffer shocks?
