Rocker panel help!

As you can see these rocker panels are absolute shit lol, Came with the jeep when i found her on the marketplace 3 years ago (I’m obviously lazy and should’ve changed them out sooner.)
With the harsh WNY winter coming up I’m trying to get my dear Loretta in top shape if i can.
Any good way to go about DIYing it?? Any and all recommendations are appreciated. Thanks guys!

Do you own a welder and a grinder? You could slice out the old rockers and replace them with square or rectangular tubing, something like 3/16 steel wall. I’ve seen XJ’s like that and it works. Also it reinforces the structure that was lost when your rockers returned to the earth.

Lots of posts on here about people making rock sliders. It is what I wanted but we had no place to do it. We are having a garage built now so I have hope for the future. Probably your best bet. The inner rocker is gone. That was my problem too. Nothing to weld to. So that whole area needs replaced with something before you can dream of replacing the outer rocker. Mine is just all hidden right now to get me through inspection, and the worst part is they were pretty good until they got crushed at a garage on the lift. Now they are warped and I had to get cosmetic covers to hide the patchwork and warpage.

I got a grinder but i don’t have/have no experience with a welder. Although i have seen some auto weld shops and signs on light poles around me.

Maybe stop at a weld shop and see if they can fabricate some rock sliders for you out of some kind of channel steel. I am thinking it would cost a couple grand, which is why I have not been able to do it! But a lot have done it if you search on here and it would give you a few more years with the Liberty. I know one shop advertises $1500 a side to do truck rocker replacement. Fabricating it out of steel if you are not picky and just want it functional should not be that bad for them to do. Just make sure there are drain holes and they use internal frame coating on them. Hoping we can do this with our 04 in time.
