Radiator replaced but leaking ****** fluid

First post I am brand new to the board so please be gentle.

I just installed a new radiator on my 02 Liberty Limited yesterday. I noticed today a little bit of ****** fluid leaking. After further inspection it appears one or both of the lines that connect to the radiator are leaking. They are both snug I checked them. After looking at the old radiator, inside the line hook ups there is a little black O-Ring in both of them. Does anyone know if these O-Rings are built into the radiator or if they were on the lines and came off in the old one and causing the new ones to leak since they lack the O-Ring? Hopefully I just need to loosen them up and re tighten.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I fished the O-rings out on mine,reused them.

I'm thinking that you need the o-rings. If memory serves me, I had to fiddle with mine when putting the front end back together.

The radiator should have came with 2 new o-rings.You do not re-use the old ones since they can leak.My last radiator had the new o-rings in the trans cooler holes already(under the plastic plugs) and you need to make sure the old o-rings are removed and fish the new ones out and install on the cooler lines then screw into the cooler.

Yep like they said, FSM shows the same thing, you need to install the o-rings on the lines before installing. Disconnect and pull out and see if the o-ring is in there, if not and the rad didn't come with new ones take one of the old ones from the old rad and go to your local parts store and get a couple new o-rings to match. Don't re-use them your just inviting a leak..
