Got this code today. Disconnected TPS, reconnected. Code gone, wonder if it will return.
71,000km.

I try to keep the throttle body, and ports to the TPS and IAC units clean as quite a bit of carbon can develop in these areas.
A spray throttle body cleaner can be used along with a small nylon tooth brush.
I remove them once a year, no CE light here.

I've heard rumour that some throttle body cleaners can damage the sensors on the TB... this true?

I did clean the throttle body with carb cleaner at the last oil change!!
