Hey Everyone I have a big hill by my house and I noticed that going up it with the four speed automatic is a little aqward. One Day I pushed the overdrive off button to go up it and I found it went up it a lot smoother. I do it about twice a day.

My question is - you don't think it will hurt the transmission at all? Since I use it so much

- Thanks Matt

No. Depending on how you use it, it may actually prolong it. You really use overdrive to take the strain off the transmission when it's in a 'no-man's land' and constantly shifting. If your transmission is shifting less when straining to go up a hill by turning OD off, you're doing your xmission a favor.
