I just got a hitch put on the Jeep. The Liberty does pretty well with it.
Going down the highway at 110kph with out towing it revs around 2k.
When I'm pulling the boat at 100kph Its reving around 2500rpm.

My jeep came with the factory tow package. I'm not 100% on this, but you should be able to add the transmission cooler to your transmission. assuming you have the same one. Towing big stuff like that boat, could cause undue stress on the ****** due to heat. Not sure how hot a transmission can get in Canada though =)

You already have a ****** cooler. If you feel it shifting between gears while towing, (hilly terrain) just lock out O/D and leave it in D. Your ****** will thank you by not overheating.

If you are on flat highway at 65mph for example you will then be able to go to O/D and it will be ok. You will feel it.
