Line pressure booster

Anyone got any experience of fitting a line booster to a 545? I've just started to feel some slippage in the 3-4 shift, I'm guessing I've got a work valve body so hopefully a booster will sort it for a bit until I can get around to pulling it to bits.

So I've been doing a bit of research & it seems like these are pretty much an expensive way to buy a 2.2k resistor... I've got some resistors on order & a service kit for it.
See if that makes things any better, I'm running round with the OD switched off at the moment so I don't wreck the clutch, I'm guessing it's not a clutch issue, it flares when it's going up into 4 but as soon as it's engaged it takes full torque.

does OD wear the automatic clutch? I usually use OD in the city

OD lets it use 4th and 5th, drops the revs a lot when you get on faster roads.

Rain has stopped and I had a bit of spare time so I installed the resistor, shifts much better, still slips when 4th engages but much less. Wish I'd done the mod years ago, might have saved the box from diesel torque.

Well, located another autobox complete with transfer box and torque converter from an 80,000 mile 2.8CRD, looks like an option.... or listen to my wife and her crazy talk about buying something newer lol
