I have a 2009 Jeep Liberty and have recently lifted it using OME coil springs and bilstein shocks. Now I am looking at regearing it to 4.10’s using:

Front:
-Yukon YGD30SR-411JK
-Yukon YK D30-JK Install Kit

Back:
-USA Standard Gear ZG C8.25-411
- Yukon YK C8.25-B Install Kit
-Eaton Truetrac 912A553

I am new to regearing and am finding it difficult to figure out exactly what parts I need. Could someone confirm that these parts will fit my Jeep.

I saw on past posts on this forum that jeep kk’s have the same front gearing as the Jeep Jk (Dana 30). That’s why I selected those parts.

Correct. You want gears for the non-Rubicon JK Dana 30. The Diff was completely changed when they refreshed the Liberty in 08.

Ah! I thought they used the same diff as a KJ.
That makes getting bits easier.

I think the Jeep designers realized the weakness of the D30A in the KJ and also saved money by using the same internals as in the JK. Probably more the latter than the former! Unfortunately I don’t think you can just swap a KK front differential into a KJ because you’d also have to swap the axles, wheel hubs, knuckles, upper and lower control arms, front drive shaft, etc. At least I have never heard of it being done.

A shame, it would be good to have an easy front upgrade
