how to stop the Noise from the rear glass latch??

I took the panel off and had my girlfriend drive around with me in the back so I could try and find out what was doing it. It seems to be the part of the lock that pushes the latch down to open the glass. Now if I mess with it enough I'm sure I could stop it but I figured I would ask and see if anyone has already felt with it. Thanks in advance for and help.

mine was really noisy this summer and I couldn't figured it out. It sounded like the glass was loose....nope, just added a touch of grease to the latch (ring) on the glass and it stopped.
