I'm afraid to ask, but how did you get wax on the outside of you Liberty?

Surely you know what type of wax he's talking about.

Ive always heard that peanut butter worked great for removing wax on plastic. Most say its just the oil in the peanut butter and the grit that removes it and/or hides it.

My vote is on the oil....

HJ....you should have left the peanut butter on, and let the dog lick it off and that way you could have sat in your lawn chair and supervised, and had your wine and cigar at the same time....haha

He licked a few spots that I missed... :D

I usually tie him up while I work on the Jeep, but I think nothing else was more important to him than the peanut butter, I actually pulled him away so I could QD it... :D

I have always used it to remove wax on plastic trim. It is the peanut oil that breaks down the stained wax allowing you to remove it when wiping off the peanut butter.
