Hi guys

I want to install the bracket for a small VHF radio on the trim panel that is below the steering wheel. The radio will sit nicely under here just beside the diagnostic port. I want to drop the panel so I can install the bracket using small bolts but I cant see a way to get it off. I have tried pulling it but I am a bit concerned about breaking something I am sure there is a "proper" method to remove this panel could anyone help me please with some advice on how to do it?

Yep did it!

Pulled like mad I was pretty sure it was gonna break but pop it came right out!

Thanks but now I am looking at it I am worried that the radio might sit a little too low and be dangerous in an accident.....

Still I'll give it a try!

Yeah I suppose you wouldn't want a VHF radio implanted in your...y'know what.

I have a electronic trailer brake controller mounted down there just to the right of the steering wheel attached to the drop down cover that you've been tugging at.
