Just got an 03 Liberty about a month ago. Idiot pulled out in front of me and totalled my '95 Cherokee in January. Really wanted another Cherokee, but thought I would give this a try. Like the looks, and my son likes the way it drives. Big question is how well do they hold up?

Just like any car theres a few things that need to be maintained or that will wear out over time. But the liberty has never left me stranded for 116k miles. Im never scared to cross country travel in it. Safety ratings for a KJ are great. If your going to off orad it you will get more wear on it obviously. Street driven the libertys are solid cars and i live in minnesota for all 116k m miles of the jeeps life and its not rusting so that makes me happy.

Welcome to the site. The Liberty has it's quirks like any other car but as stated already, take good care of it and it will take care of you.

(welcome) The KJs are pretty sturdy. Just keep up on servicing it and you'll be fine. :)
