Hi everyone, I'm new here and first of all I would like to say hello to all members. I have a 2.8 CRD Liberty 2005, and this is my first winter with it. I noticed one very interesting thing about my vehicle: When I want to start it cold, it started hard, it has a lot of smoke from the exhaust (very stinky and irritating for the eyes) and after few minutes, I can hear something like "click", then engine sound changed and it stopped smoking... Otherwise, I do not have any problem on the road, no smoke, runs great... Sorry if my english is not perfect :)

Do you know what can it be? Thanks in advance.

Your english is great!

You might have a sticking injector or water in the fuel that froze inside an injector holding it open until it warms up enough to melt.
