Hi all. I have been working on my little sister's 2005 Liberty for a couple of weeks off and on. It started when I installed her KC lights and light bar on the front bumper. My idiot self decided to try to force a larger zip tie with my power wire for the KCs through the main harness that goes through the boot in the firewall. In doing so, I tore up a couple of the factory wires (and by tore up, I mean I almost cut them in two).

The driver's side tail lights, front parking lamp (turn signal works just fine), and the driver's side marker light all went out. I have been able to fix the tail light through splicing (I believe this is the Pink/Red wire?)

Wires that I have repaired:
Wt/Gr
Pk/Rd
Wt/Yel
Gr/Pk

One other thing, the high beam on the driver's side also went out at the same time all of this has been happening

I have no wiring diagrams, but I would assume that the high beam not working is not associated with the parking lamp and marker light not working?

I have exhausted all tricks I know to do. All fuses have been checked (originally, it was burning out fuse #9, but whatever short was causing it has been fixed).

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar wiring problem in the past that could help me out....

Here's a link to the FSM which has the wiring diagrams in it.
Index of /manuals/Jeep/KJ

High beams are not associated w/ the parking lamp and marker light.

There is a relay to the high beam that you might want to check.
Fuse #27 (driver side) looks like it goes from the high beam relay to the headlamp.
