Battery position

Hi
can someone tell me whether the battery on the US model 3.7L is on the left side. I am in Australia and have the r/h drive model and the battery is on the left. The part No for both models appears to me to be the same, but I do not want to order from US if they are different. thanks in advance barryh

if your looking at the engine compartment from the front of the jeep, it's on the right.

Our us models are also on the left. We sit behind it!

The battery is on the left side when you are sat in the vehicle. Its just the steering wheel that they have got on the "wrong" side in the states!!

Thanks for the prompt replies to my query on battery. Surprised to find that the position is the same but nice to be able to buy the US version at about 10% of the Aust price. barryh
