lower ball joint

I have a 06 kj lifted 2.5 or 3 inches and I have 265 75 16s on right now. Iv had problems with my ball joints falling out OFTEN I know there is recalls and it’s a common problem. I just replaced my front diff because it went out and while it’s apart I am about to replace the upper control arms...

I just replaced the lower front ball joint and now the axle nut will not go back on. I've had it rethreaded and the axle rod rethreaded and I still cant get it to go back on. Any suggestions?
