No one here wants to see this..

“On the second-to-last cone, the Liberty lifted its driver-side wheels off the pavement, then settled back down, and Pete made the move for the last cone,” Vaughn reported. The Liberty rolled, driver-side first, the A-pillar and roof first contacting the pavement just past the last cone." If...

Need your advice!!! This is serious

I bought a used 2010 liberty sport 20,000 kms in early May this year. Three weeks later my son hit a parked car with it. The insurance company payed the $6500 bill to fix the front end. I plan to keep this jeep for a long time so I will get my moneys worth out of it. The trick is, the dealer...

    No Transmission Dip Stick????

Don't disagree with any of this, except, I'm one of the ones that do perform regular maintenance on my vehicles. Any owners manual I've had has the instructions for checking the fluid. Usually at running temperature, level ground, in park or neutral. I've had lots of VW, GM, Ford products and...

Had my liberty for a month

Just talked to insurance and the dealership. They're gonna fix it and most of the parts are in. They're all laying around my jeep waiting to be installed. Bodyshop manager says his work is warrantied and the regular manufactures warranty will still apply.

    No Transmission Dip Stick????

There is a tube and a nice little cap that you twist on about a half turn to lock and unlock. How can I be sure that a stick from an 06 will have the same levels as my 2010? Any other 08-09-10 liberty owners wanting to check their trany oil level?

    No Transmission Dip Stick????

My 2010 liberty is my first Chrysler product. I can't believe there is no transmission dip stick. The dealer says it's a dealer service item now and it's the same on a lot of their cars. He said I could buy one for $169. Is the KJ the same? Does everyone drive into the dealer every time...

    Snot!

Great advice on the anti-seize. It does have a habit of getting everywhere if you're not careful.

    Snot!

Yikes!. I just installed my hitch, this sounds like a major PITA. I think I'll treat those bolts with a little "anti-seize".

    Ryan's Mountain Jeep Find !

I did that drive in the spring a couple of years ago with my cousin in his BMW 530. What an absolutely awesome drive. Of course we stayed on the pavement though. :D.

The Official KK gas mileage thread!!

I just did some math from gas receipts, 19 - 21mpg. I love the reviews that compare this to the hondas and toyotas then they say, oh wait, can't pull 5000lbs, can't fit four big adults, not recommended for off road.......Those things cost resources and the main one is gas!

Had my liberty for a month

Latest Pictures of Tear Down Here's the latest. This is at the dealership, torn down for assessment. They think they are going to fix it. $10,000 repair to a $21,000 truck. Insurance guy needs to look at it and agree, then they start the work. 1.5 weeks if they get the parts.
