Ok, kinda sorta. The part about paying for shipping vs getting them from the dealer should count for something. As most shipping charges are based on the weight of what yer buying, buying metal plates through the mail may be cost prohibitive, IMHO.
I'm thinking about a full set of plates and front tow hooks myself. I've poked around online, but after paying for shipping, it doesn't seem to be much cheaper than getting the OEM plates from a dealership.
Are there better skid plates than the factory ones?
Do you have a Palm/PDA? I have a Palm T/X and just got a GPS package for it. About $200 on Ebay. I looked into getting an RB1 or RB4, but I wanted to be able to take the GPS with me if we take the wife's WJ somewhere.
