I have to agree with the others. I have an exterior and an interior duster in each of our cars and they work great. One car is six years old and the finish is like new. One word of caution - don't use the duster on your car if it's even the slightest bit damp such as with a bit of dew...- Nova69

Confusion on iPod interfaces
Another Option I can't help with your original question, but here's another option. For $10 more, you can replace the headunit with this one that's ipod ready. Just plug in the included cable and you're good to go. I just put one on my play car (2006 Sebring convertible) and it works great...- Nova69

In some cases, pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio. You might have one of these. If so, pull outwards on the locking collar before attempting to pull off the antenna connector.- Nova69
