Coolant leak, full resevoir gone in 24 hours, should I replace water pump?

Also make sure you dont go and mix different coolants. Mixing will result in sludge build up and you will know when your heater core stops giving you heat hahaha. If you can't put in the same time of coolant, flush with water and add anything compatible. Many brands, even a quality global...

New Jop, what should I do to it next?

I swapped out the rear bilstein 5100 shocks for Monroe load control (shock with a spring around it) and it brought the rear in line with the front. My HD OME spring were a lot stiffer then my rear OME HD springs. Also leveled out the rear and front. More in line with the factory rake, but less...

What did you do to your jeep today?

This style is common on newer vehicles. Basically plastic. Never seen one fail other than the ball joints.

Coolant leak, full resevoir gone in 24 hours, should I replace water pump?

Looks like you can go and do a water pump. Generally comes from the pulley shaft or the paper gasket. Slam a new one in and move on with things

What did you do to your jeep today?

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. Happens more than you would think on many brands. Ford 3.0L and 2.0 and 2.5 are bad for it. Honestly you can just tap new threads in the same, or you can cut to the next size up, heli coil and put in whatever fits that size that is common. Nothing says you need...

Coolant leak, full resevoir gone in 24 hours, should I replace water pump?

If the leak is pretty bad fill with water, run it and then let it sit once on the warm side. If it's a bad leak you will see the water dripping our pouring out from whatever is leaking. With the engine off and the level high enough it won't be whipped around by the belt and pulleys. Let us know...

    Rear Upper Control Arm (Boomerang)

Hmm that's a tough call. Ride pretty noisy as it is. Don't want to have to crank my radio more..... but strength and longevity..... tough choice.

More Information Regarding Kj Renegade Roof foglight mounting

So not having the wiring isn't the end of the world. I would have to look up what the factory harness looks like, but most likely has a fused cable to battery, which is controlled by relay via ignition to the actual lamp switch itself. You don't have to use ignition on to allow power to the...

removal of transmission in a day, is it possible?

Pushing torque converter towards the transmission once separated will keep it from leaking. Assuming you don't tip transmission forward and have it slide out.

removal of transmission in a day, is it possible?

Cut everything that's in your way in that case. Unbolt starter, remove ring gear bolts, remove trans mount and remove bell housing bolts and pull it out.

Bilstein shocks are amazing. Replacing with new springs will also give it a great ride improvement.

Bert is in my driveway...won't start...

I personally do not like NAPA parts. They are expensive and like to use the cheapest suppliers and re-badge it. Good work verifying it.

removal of transmission in a day, is it possible?

Usually the service info is good. In many cases not taking short cuts greatly speeds up the job. Pull the transfer case off first in order to make transmission removal easier. I would be gentle with the connectors. Push in connector release lock tab and then remove the connector.

    4.10 gear finally Installed

I opted for the P rated version to keep the weight down. C and E rated aren't necessary for my uses. I dont rock crawl to extra plies on the sidewall are no benefit for me.

    4.10 gear finally Installed

I've never looked into it. Some scan tools on older dodges (late 90's early 2000's) will allow you to change the tire size in the PCM/TCM, so there may be the option there. No sure if it changes the shift pattern though. Pretty much plug in and see.
