When I did mine I installed the fork to the control arm first. I then tipped the top of fork and bottom of shock towards the knuckle, put the shock into the fork as much as possible. I have a 2005 3.7 auto 231 tcase donor vehicle. Will this tcase bolt up behind my 02 limited 3.7 auto 242? Thinking of swapping the rear axle to gain disks at the same time.

Sounds like the shock is topping out.
