Been A Year - Let's Get This Going Again!

Camping set-up on Libby I have an old M100 that I am thinking of moving the RTT to, set it at the top rail of the trailer so it is a hop up instead of climb up. I like the compact size. Maybe seal the top of the trailer and load the kitchen and such in it with long drawers like the pickups have.

    Side Sills

They show doing inners and outers, because I need both. My other option is to weld in rectangular tube and make rock rails out of them.

Rebuilt the rear suspension this weekend. Shocks, K member, lower arms and fresh springs. The surprise wiggles gone! Next weekend, the front gets hit.

    Modifying the Rockfather Lift

You just move the clamp on the bottom of the shock down 1/4", which is usually what is sticking out the bottom of the clamp. You end up with the same surface clamp area as without them, just in a different spot.

If you have a full size spare, swap it out with the tire that hit the curb. Does it drive the same or ?? If it clears up, it is the wheel/tire. If it doesn't clear up and the control arms are good, jack up the rear on stands and see if the axle ****** is bent. if not that, Are you sure the...

    2005 crd thermostat upgrade?

The thermostat on my 06 CRD failed at 85K, but failed open so I installed a 192+ from a 1983 Renault Alliance. They go inside the upper hose and still working perfectly at 240K. I removed the OEM units guts when I replaced the timing belt (2nd) at 100K. I will go with TDF's unit next belt...

    Alignment after OME lift?

I don't know, after 50 years of doing it that way, I haven't had one complaint. Check your road, it is crowned. Every road in the USA is and I have been all over the country. It is a build standard for road construction.

    Alignment after OME lift?

Caster +2.5 left side, +2.75/3.0 right side unless you roads aren't crowned. Keeps it tracking straight without input. Square if roads are flat. Camber: -.25 to zero. Toe-in: max of 1/16"

    Alignment after OME lift?

If you can't find someone straightaway, I would at least set the toe. You can do that yourself without exotic tools. I use quart paint cans standing on the flat of the driveway, in front and behind and outside the tires. I have two Aluminum 2" x 2" I beams (from my racecar days). You can use 4'...
