Curious-what is in your KJ toolkit?

Absolutely nothing except a spare new Mopar TPS along with the appropriate Torx screwdriver, a gallon of windshield washer fluid, a few bottles of upper cylinder lube/fuel system cleaner, and a spare pair each of 9007s and 4114Ks.

2004 Liberty Sludge in Oil fill neck

I saw that. I will add - for 2002-2003 models, there is no need to get the additional vehicle specific passenger side crankcase breather hose (which, in your case, was part # 53013885AA for 2004-2006 KJs ). Required Fluid Types

Yes, DOT 4 is compatible with DOT 3, and has a slightly higher wet/dry boiling point. Your best bet is to flush the brake system every couple years or so.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Replaced the exhaust y-pipe, the transmission pan, and the front driveshaft last week. Changed both filters & the trans fluid while I had the pan off. Popped in a pair each of Philips X-Treme 9007s & Sylvania FogVision 9145s in yesterday.

For '03 KJ 3.7l engine oil, what weights do non North American owners manuals recommend? If someone from Europe/UK/Oz/SA etc could post a picture of the oil grade table in their '02 to '06 Owners Manual that would be appreciated.

Replace Alternator or Repair It- KJ

Here ya go, NOS 160amp Denso next to a boneyard 136amp Denso. These split case Denso's have 12 diodes & hairpin stators. The second image with the open back is a 160amp split case Denso as well, but for a different application. IMG_6748 by Ofelas posted Jan 20, 2021 at 7:07 AM IMG_6932 by...
