    E brake light intermittent

Glad to hear that it’s fixed. Could be a little low from pad wear? The system seems sensitive for sure. Hopefully no a bulging line….

    No Heat!

Could be a faulty thermostat. If you find that everything is working properly with the actuators and air distribution housing then let the Jeep warm up and check the heater hoses going to the heater core for heat.

    E brake light intermittent

Make sure the fluid level is topped off. This was happening with my KK and solved the issue.

    KK is full electric.

    No heat/Luke warm

The popping noise is probably the plastic gear teeth jumping as the actuator cycles. In my case the blend door got stuck and the plastic gear teeth got messed up on the end of the blend door. If this is the case the entire air distribution housing will need to be replaced. Here’s a link to a...

    Scan Tools

If you’re still looking, take a look at OBD JScan app. I’ve been a user for years and it works well with our 2011 KK and 2016 JKU. The app requires a wireless OBD2 adapter and $21 to register a single VIN. It will scan the ECU and System Modules for DTC’s, allow module testing and show live data...

    09 liberty no start

I have a 2011 and have experienced something similar. In my case it’s the security system and a failing key or Wireless Control Module (WCM). When you turn the key to the run position or all the way to start a red dot light will illuminate on the dash for a few seconds and then turn off once...

    Hub bearing issues

I have a 2011 for 10 years now with 150k. I have experienced twice where I thought I had a front wheel bearing going bad. The first time was once the original GoodYear tires got about 40k on them a noise started to develop that sounded like a failing wheel bearing. I found that if I mounted...

    P0302 Intermittent Misfire

I think you might be right on the PCM. I spent a good chunk of the day working on this rig today. Removed the intake, plug wires, coils and plugs. Used the bore scope to peek into the cylinders and cylinder heads. With the plugs out I rotated the engine to get a good look at the closed & open...

    P0302 Intermittent Misfire

I didn’t list it, but I did hook up a vacuum gauge at the brake booster connection. The gauge was steady at 20in fluctuating a couple inches when a misfire would happen.

    P0302 Intermittent Misfire

Thanks for the reply. I have a bore scope at work and I plan on checking things out tomorrow. I’m going to peek through the spark plug hole, remove the intake and peek at the intake valve, rotate engine to open the valve and peek beyond. While I have the intake off I’ll replace the gaskets...

    P0302 Intermittent Misfire

Hello from Wisconsin! New to the site and looking for some guidance on solving this nagging intermittent misfire. 2011 Jeep Liberty 70th Anniversary Edition (dressed up sport) with 150k on the odometer. It’s been good to us as problems and repairs have been minimal. At 50k I pulled the dash...
