Did the pan drop, filter and fluid change on my 42rle on Monday. Used Permatex Automatic Transmission RTV Sealant and a rubber gasket from NAPA. Mopar filter and blue threadlocker on all the bolts. I heard #5 needs it but figured what the heck, why not. No leaks!
When I worked at a shop, we'd look up the code and trace signals to the ECM. If the signals going to the ECM are all good, then the ECM is bad. If signals are bad to ECM, check wiring and sensor components and replace/repair what's needed.

Ha, I've been bitten by the Jeep bug for sure. Before my Accord, I drive an '87 Chevy 4x4 short bed truck with a 350 on 33's and a 4" lift (10-12mpg). Loved it!
