2003 Liberty V6
Guys, pulled up on the four wheel drive lever to engage 4H today. It worked perfectly. When I was done, I put the lever back down to 2H and the "part time" light came on and if sounds as if the 4H isn't fully disengaged. I hear a hum/whine when accelerating but if i turn a tight circle it...- dugkim

HOW TO: Change Transfer Case Position Switch
Engage/Disengage Does the sensor have anything to do with the extent of engagement or disengagement of the 2H/4H system. the light problem started simultaneously with a whining sound that although it drives like its in 2H, sounds like it hasnt fully disengaged. thoughts? suggestions? -
