Passenger Side (right side) Axle doesn't seem to be in all the way

Not sure if this is the same issue but when I lifted mine, I recall they shortened the axles to accommodate the new angle. Years later, the boot tore and the mechanic replaced the axle...it kept popping out and I had to remind him that we shortened the axle previously. We kept the old and just...

    Rear window switch

Yes, that isbhow it appears to work. Open the door and remove the interior plastic panel. I took the entire thing off instead of the little cut out. Remove a couple of bolts (or nuts...it has been a while) from the interior of the door to permit the handle to rock outward. On the back you can...

    Rear window switch

I was able to remove the pull handle on the door. One of the wires corroded off the contact point so I clipped/ cleaned the end and soldered it back in place. Took about an hour and solved the issue.

AC refrigerant leaking from black tube after being charged

I used the articles on this forum in the How To. I recommend zip lock bags and a marker. When I remove a "type A" screw, I wrote "A" next to the hole on the dash.

    Fuel can side panel carrier

That looks great. Been thinking of doing something similar to blank the window. Curious, did you use 18 gauge steel?

    KJ general reliability information

I purchased an '06 in 2011. Have 208k miles on it and going strong. Aside from the rust on the rockers mentioned above, check the coolant. It should NOT be green as these rigs need HOAT. Window regulators break..but it's the plastic bracket that holds the glass not the motor most times. You can...

    Front Drive Axle

Am I seeing that correctly, $32 for the kit? So I don't need to replace the whole shaft.. that's great news.

    Front Drive Axle

Hey gang, I just had the rear drive shaft u-joints replaced and my mechanic advised replacing the front drive shaft. Any advice or recommendations on brand? I see Rock Auto has some options. Any advice on how I can make sure I order the right size? I'm seeing different lengths.

Wife knocked out the headlight and radiator support. How fun is that to fix.

I hit a piece of furniture at 65mph...long story..and had to replace all the front stuff as well. I have a brand new top piece (the one with the labels) you can have if you pay shipping or pick up. It's all fairly simple except the "mustache bar" as I call it. It runs under the radiator and up...
