I can't believe a shop that changed a radiator did not replace the old hoses at the same time. Especially if the hoses looked like they have been on the vehicle for a good while.
Did they quote you the work with and without hoses?
I have a 2004 Sport with MOAB wheels. The wheels may be worth more than the Jeep itself. It has been garaged the whole time and the paint and interior look almost new.
If a major component like the engine goes, should I fix it? It's still a great 4 wheeler.

Mine happened close to home. Had it towed to the stealership. Diagnoses, broken lock cylinder. Dealer said the be prepared that these sometimes will break the whole ignition assembly and the fix would be to replace the steering column, at about $700.00.
Luck was with me and it was a $65.00 fix...
Check to rear brakes and the parking brakes. I just had to replace both rear rotors and all of the parking brake pads and a few small parts. I thought the sound was coming from the right front, but it was actually right rear.
