    I apologize for not knowing much about changing spark plugs, but I've heard you have to "gap" or "change the length" on the spark plugs themselves. How do you go about doing this, and what is the length for the liberty?

    Is everyone running the 5w20 thats speced for the kk?

    To add on to my previous post. It seems as though a lot of Jeep Liberty KJ owners use 5w-30. So I may switch over since both use the same engine, and If I'm not mistaken, 5w-30 is more durable in terms of weather.

    I've been using 5-20w synthetic since I've had it, and I've changed it every 5,000 miles. No problems since I've had it. 65,000 miles here and I live in Colorado.

    Also when changing your battery don't forget to change your spark plugs too, they probably need to be changed as well.

    Nice guide, at what mileage did you replace your spark plugs? I know Jeep says @ 60K, but that sounds a bit early to me.
