    I would have no clue how to do it, so thanks for the replies. The Port jeff jeep dealer on LI seems to run a pretty good shop, with good service, so thats my go to. But having no knowledge, I am at there mercy, so I appreciate you guys here keeping them honest!

    Had mine replaced today, at the dealer, 420 bananas. Seems like a lot. I've got 45, 700 miles on my 2007, don't know if they were ever done before. how bad did I get taken? thanks

    Had no idea the brakes last that long. is that the brake pads, rotor, everything? i've never had any car that did not need brakes every now and then. (Maybe it's me?)

    30000 It says oil and filter, lube chassis, clean air box, replace air filter,drain and replace tranny fluid and filter,transfer case fluid, front and rear differential fluids, rotate, check psi, balance tires,check brakes, air flow settings, check belt tension, check battery, clean, tighten...

    Just got my 30,000 mile service at 43,000 miles. I bought my 2007 with 39,000, and had no record of it being done. Needed rear brakes also. 1000 clams. how did I do?

    If this is an old subject, forgive me. Bought my 2007 with 34000, now it has 39000, don't think the tranny fluid has been changed(can't check it, no dipstick) Manual says change it, some mecanics say leave the tranny alone, what do you all say, please? Thanks

    So, tried mine yesterday on my 2007 jeep, for the first time since I bought it two weeks ago. It struggled to make it halfway, then would only go a quarter of the way, now it barely moves an inch. how much to fix this, anyone, please?

    repairs ok, so, scan computer codes, missfire code PO306, and PO300, locate bad plug, replace plugs and air filter, two hours labor, 287.00. Guess I should learn to change my own plugs. Is it complicated?

    You are correct, it was mostly the window problems, also low gas mileage. Today, i am just feeling down, I got rid of a Volvo that always was in the shop, and four days into my new jeep, tomorrow it's back to the shop. I feel cursed. I really cannot afford another 1000 dollar car repair bill.
