    damn I think you made the oil change much harder for yourself by doing that. btw In my pic it appears I've got the fan shroud for the HD cooling fan, but there is actually just dead space under that black plastic infront of the negine.

    on the '02-'04 the tow package and the off road package also got you the HD cooling (clutch fan in addition to the standard fan). Might be wroth it for that alone...

    I've gor the gorilla lugs on my KJ. They are solid, not capped like the OE lugs and I feel much more comfortable with them on than I did before (thinking of my wife getting stuck with a flat, no tools and a cap comming off). As for your concern that these arent the best designed...

    as mentioned a while back I still cant seem to find a way to get to my filter from the top -- without removing a lot of stuff. Well to illistrate my point I finally got off my ass and took a picture of the engine bay (quick pic so its not that great but you get the idea)

    5'11" here, of late I've been using a lumbar cushion though I dont believe it to be because of the Jeep's seats (been using/needing it for a while in all seating situations).

    for comparison, the '04 one I took out in place of that '05 Chez sold me had that black plug closer to center and cocked at an angle above the vacume line hook up. I can try to take a pic of the back for comparison too...
