    I had that clunk for a month or two after I got my lift. I lived in a place with speed bumps and I heard it every time. Then it just went away and never came back.

    I was a Machinist Mate in the USN. I served aboard an aircraft carrier for a while. Deep in the hole (engine room) the only time I noticed the planes was when one of them came in hard and shook the deck pretty hard. You could feel it.
