    glass is significantly harder than paint. you can use the same polishing compounds on paint as on glass, to get rid of the years of grime and build up. you can even step up to some pretty aggressive compounds and not worry about scratching the glass.

    they went to using the ABS sensors for speed measuring, I thought, which should mean gear ratio should have NO effect what so ever on speedo correction, but it's just really REALLY odd that the error on mine is a perfect match for 3.73/3.55

    I used a propane torch on the job I needed it for. got it hot enough to loosen, and that's all I cared about. it DID kill the sensor though, so keep that in mind.

    **** USA 11980 so I picked up, what I thought, was a pair. well it turns out I only bought 1. they actually mount up decently well to the mirror housing. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to under mount it though. $36 each is a hard pill to swallow though.
