In the past there has been a knockoff version of the metal one on Amazon. Maybe that's available on your part of the marble? I've got the full set and they work fine.
I agree, without the assistance of the rear drive shaft also moving the jeep that little front drivshaft is overworked. Be gentle and drive as little as possible.
Sounds like fun! I can't think of anything else except the cruise control either, unless someone tried doing an electronic throttle on it for some obscure reason. :rolleyes:
After getting about a foot of snow over the last couple days and having my jeep parked on the street. The plows had piled the snow up nearly to the bottom of the doors on the street side and back of jeep, and halfway up the doors on my other car parked directly in front...so I got to use 4-low...
Some drive shafts have cv joints such as your front, whle others like the rear only have u joints, which is why no cv joints are included in the description.
You of course are welcome to throw your money away any way you like. Many people outside the kj community think we're all crazy for the time and money we put into these things. But bottom line my friend is you are still gonna need lower ball joints even after you buy all of those things you...
You probably don't need all of those front end parts, just the lower ball joint. If one ball joint popped the other side is likely in need of replacement too. From what you've pictured it doesn't appear that the lower ball joint is included. If I was in your situation I'd replace just the lower...
