I would say the best thing to make your Jeep more off road capable is driver skill. Know what will get you stuck, how to work the peddles to get over obstacles and when to back off so the rig will get you home. As long as you wheel smart that 2WD Jeep will take you places you never realized...
Do you have an aftermarket head unit? If so I suggest spending the extra $ and get the sirius connect for it. It makes a much cleaner looking cab. If you have the factory head unit, I'm not sure how you'd hard wire it in.
After a certain point that's the only way to get more lift, unless you re-engineer the whole d@mn thing and do like a desert runner get up with custom control arms and half shafts...

Get it replaced asap, pull it out if you cant fork over the $ to have it replaced. Them there drive shafts fail at the transfer case; the boot there blows IMO.
They make a detachable sway links that you may want to look into. I'm not sure how much help detaching the swaybar would be on a IFS since each side moves independently.
As long as you've got the body style you like you can make it look like what ever model you want it to. I've got a sport, but I'm a set of fender flares and light bar away from a rene.
