Does that mean it's stiffer, softer, better offroad, better onroad, etc???
And no I've never had the opportunity to ride in a modded KJ - not a lot near me that I've seen.
Command trac is the model of transfer case, it doesn't affect the rear differential axle traction. The trac lok differential carrier LSD is for the rear only. You'll have to rebuild the rear diff with the trac lok carrier.
You can send me $$$ on paypal and then I'll ship to you.
I'd like a slightly taller but not overly stiff lift on my KJ - a true 1 to 1.5" lift. So I ordered ARB 2925 front and 2947 rear (backordered at the moment). But now I've got a line on a detours winch mount and I'd like to add a winch to the front. Should I go up on the front springs to 2926 to...
I agree ^ DTT are really the best all-round option. On Front/Back, they're about 95% as good as a locker without the hassle and cost of dealing with a locker.
the 3.7 has a reputation of dropping exhaust valves due to a poorly designed valve retainer that doesn't allow the valve to rotate during combustion and then it overheats. PO of my '02 KJ had this happen, it's a common failure point (google is your friend) but I assume at some point they changed...

Arb requires a compressor and air lines, which means extra money and can be damaged or leak.
Ox locker uses a heavy cable that can be actuated by electric shifter.
Got an OEM 16" KJ steel wheel in hand: with hubcap weight is 26.5lbs, net offset (measured to edge of rim subtracted by the wheel lip diameter) is 5 1/4". Otherwise, the total offset is 5 3/4"
My OEM 16" KJ Alloy wheels measure 5 3/4" total offset (or 5 1/4" net offset), and weigh at 21lbs.
So...
Napa lifetime axles have the warranty, which is probably what makes them the best for lifted jeeps. When/if they get damaged just get them replaced. Fairly inexpensive too
I had a mevotech supreme installed for 2 years, which I ended up replacing. The ball joint was fine and still tight, it was one bushing that tore, most likely an install issue on my end though. But lifetime part, so I got a new one for free. 6 months later no issues
