transfer case plug replacement
I ended up using a Multi spline extractor Irwin Industrial Tool 53227 Hex Head Multi-Spline Extractor Set, 25-Piece - Hex Keys - Amazon.com and the help of a bottle jack and some WD-40 (not that the WD-40 did anything) and it came right out.- Sephiroth

take this with a grain of salt but when testing for the code, it is based on how long it takes the engine to reach operating temperature so it uses the readings from the coolant temperature, (which you said seems to be fine) and the air intake temperature. if the air is cold then it should take...- Sephiroth

Boiling coolant
tester shows 268 F for boil over and -45 F for freeze up so it is good :shrug: I guess i just have to wait till the cap gets here.- Sephiroth

I had to replace the radiator about 3 months ago so it has fresh coolant i got it when it had 121000 miles and now has 185000 never been to the dealer since. i had to replace the radiator 3 times due to it cracking so I am sure the coolant is fresh. i will get a tester on my way back from work...- Sephiroth

So yeah... my coolant is boiling in the overflow reservoir. the temp gauge is where it should be coolant will start boiling after about 10 15 minutes of driving 45-50 mph i noticed this when i got home and stopped on the driveway. there are no leaks and oil is clean, fan comes on when i am on...- Sephiroth
