I got plastic rivets at harbor freight that worked perfect. They were cheap. The rivet gun I bought even came with some. Looks good and has held for a couple years with no issues.
The temp gauge is in the center and the heat works fine. No cooling leak or low coolant. The thermostat was replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. Runs perfect. It's been sitting alot lately so I drove it yesterday and today to get some miles on it, otherwise it sat 2 weeks.

I break in my new pads and rotors and don't have a problem with pulsating brakes. Does anyone else break in their new brakes? Op may want opinions on this as I think it effects brake performance and longevity. I could be wrong though.

Nothing special needed for disc brakes and it's an easy job. Save for the lift and do the work yourself. Replace all 4 rotors, all pads, and hardware. Grease the caliper slides and clean stuff up. You'll be ok And it's a great learning experience.
