I checked all fuses pulled the stereo and heater controls and did a hard reset by pulling the battery cables and clamping them together for a while. Now the gauges seem to work and no “no bus” light on. The heater control doesn’t work but I haven’t tried with the radio installed. Is there a...
I haven’t checked the battery. Cables are clean on outside and tight but I haven’t disconnected them yet, I’ll do that later today when I try the reset. I did replace the speed sensor pigtail wiring 3 years or so ago and rerouted it. The speed sensor is a mopar part.
Any idea what this code is. I did a google search but it says it’s the CPS but I would think it would run rough or not at all if it were a bad CPS. Is this possibly related to the no radio, fan speed, and gauges issue I’m having?
Now the gauges quit working! What is going on! I’m calling ghostbusters!
I guess I’ll replace the fan switch this weekend and see if that will help. Is it possible that even the gauges are on the same ground? The lights on the gauges do work, just no gauges.
If I turn my fan up to 3 or 4, the radios shuts off and won't work. If you turn the fan back to 2 or lower, it turns turns the radio back on. So is my jeep haunted or does someone know what could be wrong?
2.5" lift with original rims and 245-75's. It's at the front of the tire, not at the rear where the pinch weld is.
I'll try to heat it up and mold it and see what happens.
I run 245-75-16's on the Libby. They rub on the inner fender liner at full turn in front. It's at the front of the fender liner right by the access covers for the fog lights. If I cut a chunk of the fender liner out will it hurt anything? I would just cut the small area it rubs. I can't see...
How can you tell if you have a bad hub/bearing if you can't tell by sound? My tires are kind of noisy so I can't tell if I hear a bad bearing/hub assembly. It seems like it's gotten louder. I can't tell what side it's on if it is a bad hub assembly.
Are the rear lower control arms the same on the 02 as they are on the 04-07? I found a good deal on some mopars but it lists them as being for 04-07. They do look different then mine. I thought all of them were the same though.
02 sport 4x4 non-abs. I'm getting some louder than usual humming noise. I don't know if it's the tires, which are almost do for replacement, or if it could be a bad bearing/hub assembly. Is there a way to check them?
its an easy job to replace it and doesn't take long. I wouldn't use driveshaft parts though. I went through two of theirs in under 2 months. The second one they won't replace. Just bs for what they claim is a quality part. I know others that have had bad luck as well but some that have had good...
If you pump the brakes do the get harder? If so it would be a bleed issue. Otherwise it's something else. Check for bulging lines too. If the pads don't fix the issue, look at the master cylinder and the booster.
