P0172 p0175 engine overheating on idle
Agree. If coolant old, flush properly, check heater core lines. HEAT ISSUE - I needed to reverse flush my daughters heater core twice as it got plugged up. Do this before adding new coolant. Is thermostat ok. Sounds like time to replace with OEM thermostat as I hear many after-markets fail to...- budget76

Nephew bought a Liberty 2012 It won't charge
Clean every ground, and reinstall. This takes care of simple problems. Old cars develop crust on ground straps. Measure voltage out of alternator and compare to battery. if alt voltage not getting to battery, then I would suspect internally corroded wire. this is a real thing.- budget76

Due to having 20 year old wires, I wonder what is the voltage at the bulb. Please measure if bulb voltage == battery voltage, or is there a drop. If the bulb voltage is lower, that helps explain poor lights and you should install a relay taking the power off the battery directly. Fuse this work...- budget76

clunking noise up front
It is best to have axel off ground just enough to get tires off then spin shaft and wheels. You feel and hear the slop better when wheels are not engaged to earth with a load. good luck.- budget76

I suspect the fuse issue was corossion and dirt not dead fuses. In the past I have removed ALL fuses and cleaned the terminals and re-inserted them. Did you verify voltage from ECU to the coil. If coil does not get voltage, spark plug gets no voltage. Just a thought. Never hurts throwing new plugs in as they will eventually need changing, but probably was not needed. You introduced a SECOND VARIABLE, new plugs and new coil. The fewer...- budget76

Low oil pressure at idle concerns me. I assume this is "after" new oil and filter. Double check with mechanical oil pressure gauge before "fixing" anything. could be sensor. Do not forget to drain and fill axles. You never know what the previous person did and how much water is in axles. Catch old fluid when draining and if clean and new, reuse. This rarely happens but with oil at $10-15 quart, well work catching it. Do BNOT assume plugs ar pre-gapped. Use...- budget76

Intermittent fault.
Temperature if 30 minutes later it starts or runs. Yes temperature can kill a sensor, and this is a cheap and easy item to replace, so maybe it is ok to throw parts at it. Did it run after assembly and then 1 week later problems, or are these problems after re-assembly? I doubt it is the PCM because of coincidence. You did lots of stuff, then issues, with same PCM. Doubt if you lost 3 injectors at same time, so I doubt 3 injectors are clogged up with dirt at...- budget76

The vacuum system is easy to diagnose using a hand vacuum pump. You can rule out canister, lines until the last thing (always the last thing) does not hold vacuum or else solenoid does not work.- budget76

For the P0456, time to tighten the clamps, and if possible replace the rubber hoses in the evap system. You could do proper testing of sub-components with a vacuum tester/pump thereby reducing what it may be / is.
