So do heated mirrors plug right into a jeep that never had them? Or are other modifications required? Just curious as I am headed to the salvage yard tomorrow with my Bro for some Scoobie parts and I know this particular yard has 2-3 KJ's. Tire time! Firestone Destinations, Bridgestone Duelers, or Long Trail T/As?
My vote is for the Firestone Destination AT's. Mine are 245/70/16's as well and I have had no problems with them so far. I love the look, they are quiet on the road, great in the rain, great off road, and I will test how they are in the snow this winter. Here's what they look like on mine- RedKJ04

Got a bad interior water leak
If it's not the Sunroof, it could be the seal at the top of the windshield which is where mine was leaking. Re-sealed it right up and BAM! no more leaks.- RedKJ04

Debating Mopar fog lights...
If you wire them per the Mopar directions the fogs will only work with the headlights, but if you tie into the parking light wire instead of the headlight wire then they will work with the parking lights on as they should; and as an added bonus they will also stay on with the high-beams on as...- RedKJ04

Debating Mopar fog lights...
I just went with the mopar fog kit that comes with everything you need to install them. Came with the wiring, a relay, the fogs, and the multi-switch which I have had zero problems with. Makes such a clean install when finished and the fog light indicator in the dash even works as it should. I...- RedKJ04

Water Pump and Factory RTV
I put a water pump in mine about a year ago and there was not RTV to be found. Just the o-ring type gasket in the water pump bolted up dry to the aluminum block so that's exactly how I put it back and haven't had any leaks. That's odd they would have used RTV on yours wonder if anyone else has...- RedKJ04

You know your tires suck when...
I've got a set of 245-70-16 Firestone Destination AT's on my 04 Liberty and I absolutely love them. Great tire all around. Haven't had any problems with them so far in the rain or off road, they are also really quiet for an AT as I believe Tom mentioned earlier.- RedKJ04

Center Brake Light Corrosion Check/Change Bulb

front drive shaft boot "not serviceable?"
More than likely if the joint has been without a boot there has been damage to the joint itself but you can get the new joint and boot and just replace what is damaged.
