    Actual downsides to spacer lift

I went this route at the beginning, a cheap top plate lift, new OEM springs, and my springs were shot in 6 months and had me just sitting again at factory height, with a top spacer on. I did it properly this time, ordering the parts over the span of a month or so, so split between 2 cheques...

    Upper control arm alternatives

Mine looks pretty level, right now with around 21.5" in the front and 21" in the rear. It sits pretty flat front to back, as far as height looks. Most guys have OME 927s upfront and I believe 948s in the rear, but I've read that leaves some guys nose high a little bit. I have OME 927s upfront...

    Upper control arm alternatives

For anyone wondering, finally got the Jeep aligned today and the seized cam bolts fixed. New Mevotech LCAs and lower ball joints went in too. It ride really nice and suspension angles are near perfect with the Deeke's arms with Moog K6292 ball joints. The Deeke's arms let me get right into...

    Upper control arm alternatives

So, the Deeke's lifted UCAs are installed. I did end up swapping out the ball joints for some Moog K6292, which I think was the right call. The ball joints that came with the arms seemed to be pretty low quality, the threads were very rough and one even began tearing just from trying to tighten...

    Upper control arm alternatives

So I got one of the "Deeke's" lift UCAs in today, first time doing UCAs on a Liberty and man, it is a pain in the ass! Getting to the rear driver side UCA bolt is a right squeeze between the steering shaft, brake lines, and everything else in there. I ended up loosing one of the nuts for the UCA...

JBA Upper Control Arm Aftermarket Bushings/ Ball Joints ?

Curious why you sold your JBA arms? Did you sell the KJ or go back to stock height? What was the reason for removing them?

How do you like the H&R springs? You should post a photo of your KJ. I was initially looking at those as well, they're a good price for us in Canada. I imagine they ride a bit smoother than the OME 927 heavy duty springs. How are your suspension angles? You're sitting at 20.5" front and back...

    Upper control arm alternatives

Neat! Cool to find another guy from BC on here. I'm in the Cowichan Valley over on Vancouver Island, so not too far really from Powell River. We sure get screwed up here in Canada on pricing and shipping for Liberty parts! Im using Rancho shocks when I do the OME springs upfront this weekend, I...

    Upper control arm alternatives

Cool, good to know. I imagine those are stronger than the OEM ones. I do question these ball joints a bit, as the sizing may be for a Chevy half ton, but I'm not convinced they are made of top quality materials at the price point they are. It looks like they could possibly accept a JBA ball...

    Upper control arm alternatives

Judging by the photo I posted from a review of it from amazon on a KJ, they look like a good fit. Angles look good considering they're all full droop on jack stands. It'll be interesting to see how it goes at the tire shop after when I get the alignment done, that's when I'll actually find out...

    Upper control arm alternatives

There's a new company I found just recently offering lifted UCAs for the Liberty (1-4 inches of lift), they do look like JBA knockoffs, removable/greasable ball joints and bushings, just like JBAs. I'm in Canada too so couldn't justify JBAs with the springs, shocks and other parts I ordered...

    Winch mount on stock bumper.

They ship to Canada now! I just checked it out and out my address in (BC in Canada), $146 euros shipping. All in, with shipping and the winch mount, it came to about $500 CAD
