JK also has a different bolt pattern than the KJ. KJ is 5x4.5 and JK is 5x5- ACWeller

cragar soft 8 mounting problems
my opinion, take it to another shop. they should have been able to offer an idea on whats wrong instead of just blowing you off. Sounds to me like you just needsome hub centric rings.- ACWeller
