    front drive shaft

    Its the DS. I pulled it and the CV I got has slack in it already. It was really inexpensive..I had a feeling it might not be that great. Going the get another one...from someone else.

    Not 100% sure its the front DS. Just sounds like where its coming from. Only hear it with the window down. Running and driving great...just getting that noise and its getting louder. Had it on the rack doing an oil change and everything seems fine.

    Anyone ever have issues with thier rebuild kits? I fixed mine about 2 months agao and now I'm getting a metallic, jingling sound. Louder under a load. Have not had a chance remove the DS.

    What did you do to your jeep today?

    At Lowe's. It was in a barrel with precut indoor/outdoor carpet. It was a big roll but it was pretty cheap. The item number was 652450.

    Big 3 upgrade.

    I would like to add a second battery and isolator to run an inverter wo effecting the start battery. But there is just no good place to put it. I have that system on my van that I race out off and its really nice. Even with that system I have no problems with the stock cables.

    Yea the cables are not easily replaced by a straight cable. Mine were not in great shape and I looked at replacing them and ended up crimping on new ends.

    Yea you can find several ways to do it differently. I always planned on it there I just wanted the flexibility to move it around or remove it easily. For the record my wife is ok with over there. We drove a couple of hours today and she for sure would have told me if she wanted to take it out.
