    Early Decision on Stereo System

The power wire can run under the plastic moldings down the driver side of the car all the way from the amp to the hood, up threw the hinge area of the door, and under the hood. The only exposed wire is when the door is open in the hinged area. This prevents any need to drilling. Personally, I...

    Dash Illumination

Once again I seek your help. After coming home from the lake today, I took my jeep to run some errands. For some reason, the dash, and the gear shifter illuminations, do not work. I cannot see my tach, speedo, or gear selection, however I can see my odometer and my fog light indication light...

    Early Decision on Stereo System

There is enough room to run all the cables under the carpet and around the door hinges when installing a sub and amp to not have to do any drilling or cutting into anything.

    Towing a boat

It dosen't have brakes. This was my biggest concern with towing it. Its 30 minutes away.

    Early Decision on Stereo System

I really recommend installing everything yourself. Its not as hard as people make it out to be as long as your careful and follow the instructions/use common since. I have a mid range (175.00 ) Sony 52x4 Head unit w/ Kicker KS60s in the door powered off the HU. Make sure the hu you buy has...

    Towing a boat

I'm in a bit of a bind. I just spent a lot of money rebuilding my family's boat. Its a 1989 19 foot inboard/outboard ski boat with a 305 chevy block. Unfortunatley, my dads suburban, which would usually tow the boat, crapped out on us while driving to the lake a couple days ago. My question...

What is the cut-off date for the RF45E or whatnot transmission?

I know the 02s have the RF45 or something like trasmission, but what was the cut-off date for that? My 2003 was manufactured in October of 02, and want to know what transmission is in it...

    Sport models with sunroofs

My sport has fog lights and sunroof. The only thing a limited has it OTIS, Leather, and power seats. Its an option and the only reason it isn't that popular is because those people willing to spend 800 dollars on a sunroof don't mind paying for the rest of the luxury package.

    My KJ stumbles

I get that sometimes when shifting from REV to Drive and hitting the gas quickly after shifting to drive. I've gotten used to it, and hope its nothing serious.

    love my factory radio

Get an aftermarket head unit first and for most, otherwise your not doing your speakers justice. I have four ks60s in my jeep and I love them. I run 2 gauge wire and have no problems w/ it, but I'm only pushing 500 watts of so...

    Adding a sub questions

Man you might as well put in an after market head unit. The stock speakers won't hold up much to the volume your two tens will make at 300 rms. I have two tens in my libby and replaced the speakers today simply because the subs drowned them out. Without a new head unit, I would'nt have enough...

    Sound system question

I replaced my HU with a Sony 52x4 head unit. It pumped more volume to the speakers, but the distortion was just too much for me. Replace the HU first, then replace the speakers. I went w/ 4 Kicker KS60s, and 2 Lightning Audio 10 inch subs.

    MP3 Players

Its cheaper in the long run just to buy a new head unit. For 100 bucks your can buy a new head units/wire harness/etc and have yourself a little loud system. If you never plan on upgrading or love your factory setup than disregard my previous statement.

The Official "My Gas Mileage Sucks" Thread

My 2003 Libby gets 15.2 mpg mixed city/highway driving... I don't know what to do, but its killing my wallet to keep her filled up.

    trying to fix my libby....

Is it just doing it when cold? Mine would stall out when starting in when warm. Turned out to be the cam shaft position sensor. The throttle body position sensor is also quite likely.

Jeep Stalling; Check engine Light on

I'm not sure. I will never be back at this dealership to get service done, I'll take our 4 cars elsewhere.

    Should I buy a 2WD or 4WD Liberty?

I have a 4X2 Libby and wish it was 4x4. I'm forced to take my dads suburban out to the trails, and it really makes me wish I had the jeep.

Jeep Stalling; Check engine Light on
