Hey Eddie,
Bennet hooked me up with the info on my roof basket. Got the Surco Safari Rack 45''x 50''. Ordered through summitracing.com. They were pretty good, got here fast. Just remembered you got a Renny, right? that one might not work for you. You'll have to check with them.
Just got an...
I'd love to get ARB.....but, I have an 04' Sport. That would mean I'd have to trim my front fender flare's. Not sure I'm ready for that yet.
Plus.....It would be tough to get an ARB front-end on to my Libby for under 400 bucks [-X
That's were I'm at with the brushguard....
Checked out your...
I ordered that exact same one about a month ago.....same result: "we do not ship to APO's".
Oh well....If all else fails, I'll have them ship to my Dad's house in Palm Springs. Them he can send it to me.....I was trying to avoid that route though.
Love that note at the bottom of that auction...
I know I need one...I'm just trying to figure out which one is the best for me.
The reason I have for wondering if they are removable is for shipping...
I'v tryed to order other brush guards off Ebay(and pretty much...everywere else), and they all ship "factory direct". Well, all of them, so...
I thinking about ordering a brush guard for the front of my Libby. I'v seen a couple of jeeps that have them, and they look pretty good (hella functional too)
I'v pretty much discided on this one: http://www.autotrucktoys.com/liberty/Aries-Jeep-Liberty-One-Piece-Brush-Guard-02-05-P9537C526.aspx...
I went with the "Daystar 2 1/2'' spacer lift". I'm pretty happy with it, so is my KJ... The only problem I got is.....I wish I could lift her higher \:D/
Just my opinion....but I got 245/75-16 BF Goodwrench AT's, and I love em' !!!!!
P.S. Be sure to feed her some dirt from time to time...
I installed the deflector myself too....definatly a bit scary drilling those holes in the roof. The bit size was almost 1/2''....thats a big hole!!! and I do this for a living......Airframe Sheetmetal Machanic for 15 years now.
Hey Eddie....
Most of the time I take it to the local garage/coin opperated car wash. Sometimes, when I'm feeling lazy, I'll pay Adashi 10,000 won to do a full detail....he does a great job most of the time. For that price though, basiclly $8.00, I really cant complain.
Been looking for...
Finnally got it in the mail last week....seemed like it took forever to get here. Put it on the Jeep Sunday night. You were right, I cant believe how EASY this stuff is to apply!!!
This morning it was kinda dark when I went to work but, when I got there I was totally impressed. All I can say...
Man, Those wheels are going to look HOT on your Libby !!! rockon.gif
I'm jealous....lol
BTW...I dig that roof rack...did you buy that online? If so, where?
here's mine with 17'' rims....
And here she is with the stock 16''
Way more tire options with the 16''. Plus, with the stock steel rims....you dont feel so bad if you beat em' up a little off road...
OK...found em'. Thanks for the links guys!!!
One question though, Would it be posible to just change the rear shocks to those Rancho's and run the OEM front struts?
Just for a while. I need to scratch up enough coin for the struts.
I got an 04' Sport and I noticed recently that my rear diff has oil stains on either side.....never considered it a problem, since my old 90' YJ did the same thing
Sorry Valvestem,
I got busy and almost forgot to say Thanks for the great info and diagrams!!!!
It really helped out. I waited until I got my Magnaflow install, then crawled under and lightly tapped on the sensors and jiggled the wires a bit. Then disconnected the battery for about a min...
thanks for the part #'s.....
But I ran them on all the Jeep/Parts website's that I have bookmarked, and I got nothing..
I keep finding the "RSX17000 Series", but they all say in the discription " 0" Rear Lift "
