It'll never happen to me ...

I'm agree on that! I'd rather replace it than wreck. What is the "North Addition" package on the KK?

    will 245/70r16s fit?!?

Here's mine. Just installed. Falken High Country 245/70/16's. I guess I'm kind of guinea pigging these tires. Couldn't really find much about them around the net. They're agressive, they're cheap, and the dealer where I got them has always stood behind what they sell. So if they fail, I...

    Falken High Country A/T?

From the Falken website... "The Falken Tire brand, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries..... " Have you owned some that turned out to be junk? I haven't settled on any tires yet, but nobody around town seems to have much of anything decent in a 245/70 or 235/75.

    Falken High Country A/T?

Falken High Country A/T. UPDATED UPDATE 2: June 11, 2010. approx 10,000 Miles I've had the Falken High Country set on for about 10,000 miles now. They seem to be wearing really well. I've had them in a couple of muddy situations and they've done EXTREMELY well. When I first put them on...

    power inverter

How 'bout mounting it inside the side panel something like how he mounted his in the console? You could hardwire it to the accessory plug on the inside and use an inline fuse. That Black and Decker that he used is less than 50 bucks at Target.

What did you sell or trade to get your KJ?

Traded in an '05 Chevy Silverado... the absolute WORST vehicle I've ever owned!

    235/65R17 Best Options

Tirerack.com shows the Firestone Destination ATs in a 235/65/17. I'd try going to a narrower tire for better snow traction. Might even thinking about getting some stock 16" steel wheels and mount some narrow winter tires on them.

    Mods in order of importance

Been kicking around all sorts of mods to do to my '07 KJ Sport, and I'm just kind of wondering what is really important to you. Here's a list of a few things. If you can think of something to add to the list by all mean, do. How would you put these in order? Lift Tires Custom wheels Skid...

    Firestone Destination AT Tires

I just got a pretty fair price on some at the shop up the road. What size did you go with? How 'bout an action/snow picture?

How about 235/75-16's - On an '06 Renegade?

What brand/model tires do you have? The type of tire (way it's made) still seems to be a big factor between "will fit with slight rubbing" and "won't fit without some modification". All are close, but not equal.

Finally got my new tires on

That really is a great looking Jeep! Clean, simple, not overloaded with useless stuff... and very functional. Now we need some snow action pics. :D

Kj sport, renegade or limited?? 2.4 or 3.7??

To the OP... In my humble opinion if yours is going to be your daily driver make dependability your highest priority. You may find one with all the options you'd like, but if it's be beat to death those won't matter when you're trying to get it started and just get to work. That's just the...

Kj sport, renegade or limited?? 2.4 or 3.7??

Man, you got that right! I looked at '06 Rene at the dealer here in St Chuck before I bought my Sport. It was missing most of the Rene stuff except the flares. It had 27K on the clock and the stock tires were SHOT! It wasn't very clean overall. They were asking $17,900 for it...

    Fuel overflow when filling up...

They couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me. At first they said the filler neck was bad. I'm not sure how that would make a difference.
